100% Cotton canvas upper & tough rubber sole made of Forest Stewardship Commision certified rubber. The FSC stamp is in engraved in the sole of every pair (a world first!). A fair Trade premium is paid to the rubber workers in Sri Lanka & the shoes are produced under a Fair Trade arrangement in Pakistan: The Fair Trade premium there helps pay for health insurance for the workers & a micro credit scheme.
